Rides...
- You run to the most exciting ride you see or have heard about
- You rush to get into the line so that you don't have to wait for yeeaarrs on end.
- Whilst there you make sure all your pockets are closed and your shoes are on tightly.
- You get closer to the front of the line whilst trying to keep your cool externally whilst inside yourself you question why on earth you are subjecting yourself to such torture, lol.
- You get on the ride and *WOOOOOOOOSHHHH.....* hold on for dear life!
- The ride ends and you wonder why you were so afraid in the first place because you discover that you are still alive!!
If you're anything like me, when
you arrive at a theme park you usually follow this sequence:
You may not be like me but this exactly what
I do all the time and feel abit silly afterwards. I thought of this recently
because there was a slight mishap and my future was partially in jeopardy.
When you are on this big ride you are scared because you have this free fall
sensation but at the same time you know that you are strapped in securely. But
what we see around us when we are in midair convinces us otherwise.
Now lets change the ride into a certain
situation that you may be facing at the moment, okay yes it may seem scary but
deep down you do know, well you do now if you didn't before, that your God
will not let you go and fly to goodness knows where are consequently die! Not
my God anyway. He will never let you go. Why? Let's see... Because 'He cares
for you' (1 Peter 5:7). So next time when you have this 'near death'
sensation, don't panic, it's all under control.

It's Been A While...
It has been a LONG while since I've posted there but recently I've been learning soo much so I just have to start doing this again. I can't say that I've been on this planet for decades but I can share what I learn so that we can grow together so I shall keep you posted!!
The Heroes of Faith
I was just reading Hebrews 11 and I just realised how strong it
really is. It tells us of many people who by faith held on to the
promises of God and what stood out for me is the fact that all of them
did not see it with their physical eyes until later. Some even years
later but they still held on trusting the faithfulness of their God.
I believe many people know that 'faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen' but when we do not see the
promised fulfilled straight away we either get desperate or loose
heart. If we do this we will NEVER see what we want. By our faith we
can do MANY things (see verse 33-35) but we must hold it firmly.
Whenever you need to use your faith to conquer something or even
start a purpose of faith for example, don't forget that faith is the
evidence of things 'not seen' but it will make your blessing seen if
you remain in faith like our heroes of faith so that you also can
become a hero of today.

Jigsaw Puzzle
I believe you've noticed that not every piece of a jigsaw puzzle is the same. If they were all the same then maybe most of the puzzle will be put together and you will probably make out what the picture is meant to be but it will not be 100% complete.
One thing that I've noticed is that some people tend to compare themselves to others and get discouraged because they are not the same as the other person that they compare themselves to, thus making them feel inferior. I used to do this until I realised that if God wanted me to be exactly like that person He would have made me that person. I am different and God made me different. Some are able to do what I am not able to do and I can do what some can't. So if you ever think that you are not needed because you are different just remember that jigsaw pieces are too but each piece has something to add. :)
The Importance of Prayer - 1
Sincerity.
I've posted about this before but it's very important when it comes to prayer. Why would you say something that you don't really mean to the Person that knows your innermost thoughts? Be sure that if you are not sincere you will not be answered. You can repeat a prayer that you memorised from your childhood one million times but it will have no effect whatsoever if it's not what you truly mean. Or you can say just one word and God will change the situation dramatically because you meant it with everything inside of you.
Whenever you open your mouth to pray make sure you mean what you say.
